The Maker - My Story

Welcome, I'm Kyndra Gwin – mom of two adorable munchkins and biggest fan of my awesome spouse. I'm originally from Georgia but now loving life in Illinois. Before this, I had some wild times with the Army – a year in South Korea and four in Texas. Getting out in 2018 was the start of a whole new adventure, one full of passion and dreams of sweet-smelling success.

I've always been into home fragrances. Growing up, our house was always filled with the scent of candles and incense. Now, as the boss of my own home, I'm on a mission to spread that cozy feeling to everyone I meet. Making candles isn't just a hobby – it's my happy place and my ticket to making dreams come true!

Enter The Scented Mood – my little online haven that popped up during the pandemic chaos. Nestled in Plainfield, Illinois, it's where I work my magic, with a little help from my friends and family.
